I started watching this show with so much expectation but this show is utter nonsense, sadly I can not give zero rating otherwise I would have. I would rather stare my ceiling than watching this nonsensical show.

This is supposedly empowering for plus size women or at least put forth their sentiments when they experience extreme body shaming but in reality this serial just revolves around financial barriers of lead couple so why they selected plus size girl is a mystery.

This serial is just a lame attempt to gain brownie points from viewers by satisfying their body shaming sentiments. As far as story is childish and plain pathetic with no logic. Now they are just cashing on lead couples chemistry by adding unnecessary and forced romantic scenes because they don’t have story to explore( I hope writer is not getting paid because all he is doing is copy pasting famous Bollywood scenes).

Even after all the drawbacks if we were to focus on the love story, that too is not possible as it’s half baked. Just because writer has scribbled that Om and Sweetu falls in love, we have to believe ????because Sweetu has no characteristics, she is plain dumb , you just wonder why a boy like Om who is rich and handsome will fall for her. There is absolutely no chemistry between them everything looks forced and cosmetic.

Salvi family is the most pathetic family ever seen with no self respect and each and every character from that family is caricatures literally jumped out of a cartoon book. Acting wise Om ( Shalva) is the only saving grace (somewhat) rest including veteran actors are over acting, highly disappointed by Shubhangi Gokhale.

Shalva is the USP ( for obvious reason, a good face is all you need) of this serial and makers very well know that that’s why he is been portrayed as larger than life character which I hardly believe exists.But Shalve has potential to go ahead in his career, given a better role he will shine.

Anvita can not even act to save her life , she is total misfit to portray Sweetu’s character. Her romantic expressions are pathetic and downright weird. She totally lacks the maturity and depth required for the character, she come off very cold (of course writer is not been very kind to Sweetu while writing her character, I have never seen a spineless girl like Sweetu that too in 21st century 😞 She might be better suited for comic roles. In all it’s a lost opportunity from channels point of view to change the stereotype 👎😞

2.ghost blur

Initially I thought the serial was about fat shaming because the teasers were all about it before releasing the serial.But I was wrong its nothing about it. Maybe they should learn a thing or two from sundara manamadhe bharali which is quite well executed if they ever want to touch that topic.

Its all about a rich guy(Om) falling in love with a poor girl(Sweetu). But what exactly is unique about Sweetu that allured Om? Her poverty? Atleast thats what shown in the serial that made Om and his mother attracted. Its 2021 yet in marathi serials they potray poor means good and rich means evil (yes malvika). Afterall both rich and poor in real life are equally moral as well as corrupt.

Coming to Sweetu’s mom is so problematic. She prefers her daughter marrying a guy (who harrasses her daughter even before marriage) just because he got a decent job and resides in Mumbai but wont allow her daughter to marry a sweet, carying fellow whom her daughter is actually in love.

She literally defines people who say such terms like “beti ghar ki bhoj” and “log kya kahege”. Also Malvika is soo stereotyoped as a rich brat lady. Sure there are rich people who are necessarily not moral but they wont be talking about their way of living, their lifestyle 24×7. People who are extremely wealthy know their self worth and most of them spend hours working, thinking about their company.

But marthi serial are apparently not allowed to depict mordern strong female leads in a postive way rather they vilify such characters. Momo’s character is again cliched. NRIs children are not dumb or immature, they dont speak in a weird accent all the time. They are no different from us even they got the same brains as we do.

Yet in case of Momo she was shown different in a weird way and being defamed by ridiculing her in every possible way could. This indirectly feeds in the audience minds that diversity and inclusion cant be sustained in the indian society rather a rich guy drools over any girl just that she should be cultured enough for him.

3.Varsha Sawant

Its unleaalstic And Showing unrealstic picture of poverty Marathi condition.Zee Marathi And Serial director Entertaining People By underestimating moral values of poverty people Marathi people are not only smart but intelligent with self respect afterall even they poor no one has right to break dignity of human values here this serial

under name of entertainment and TRP showing anything irrelevant unrealistic and unbelievable and its not a fact that sweetus family is brainless and doesn’t have potential to take care of monthly expenses in real sweetie mother and kaki must have doing work of made or cook cooking food is having good income source place like ambernath

and Mumbai I seen many womrns traveling from karjat ambernath to Mumbai for cooking and household work I kept made who comes from diva I pay her 7000 What Value Less Content is shown by director wake up zee Marathi is this the value add in Marathi peoples thought process and psychology I used to like this serial initially but now feel

its all sadness of poor family and all problem tears in family and everyone harassing and troubling every family member so OM And His Mother God For Sweetus Family and Oms Sister Malvika worst Height of Greedy Person Who believes on senseless girl to get marry with on sake of money and business growth where is her real potential

and talent to grow business .zee Marathi and director This serial Seems just need TRP and Money And Spoiling Mental Health Of Scociety however place like Mumbai ambernath many income sources available for all family members for financial independence 6 adult jointly unable to earn 25000 which can take care of all financial needs

of family looking at sweetus mother character if she do cooking business by going society she alone can earn 20 to 25k month and in this situation Dada and uncle also have income opportunities security guard and
chinya can also work for any sector company or pizza or MCD employee place like a Mumbai If person is hardworking any age illlitrate person also earn 20000 minimum monthly wherein chinya also can earn 15000 to

10000 as a fresher in any food outlet as a delivery boy amazon flip cart giving many opportunity as a delivery boy this serial throwing bad sad povertey of Marathi society and wrong bad gesture of humanity and weak Marathi Family mentally physically and financially too somewhere needs to stop wrong message and need moral giving

serials and value based realistic non violence creating non dominating sensible and meaningful serials entertainment with moral values and meaning which help scocity to improve quality thinking quality attitude and quality relationship with quality mental health.Ideal To Create Powerfully Next and Present Generation Marathi media gaining trp showing poor rich relaion ship by hurting social values pls for your own benefit don’t produce wrong unrealistic non meaningful serialsand don’t misguide under name of entertainment

4.Manasi Patil

Interesting story filled with comedy, romance, tragedy, suspense etc. Main character’s acting just seems natural. Carries the viewers to the YKTMN world.

The best thing about the serial is that the main lead characters (Om and Sweetu) have got a perfect behaviour which you can expect from main characters. They are obedient, respectful to everyone, polite, helpful and caring. After seeing the serial, every viewer feels like making one change in themselves in their behaviour and be like Om or Sweetu.
